Editorial & Fact Verification Policy

How we verify game mechanics, preserve accurate patch histories, and guard against misinformation.

1. Verification Hierarchy

Every piece of game data published on archeagechroniclesgameguide.wiki is categorized into one of three strict reliability levels:

  • Tier 1: Confirmed Official Data — Directly sourced from official XLGAMES announcements, Producer Ham letters, Kakao Games press releases, or extracted from active playable game clients (such as the Steam Next Fest demo build).
  • Tier 2: Developer Disclosures & Roadmap — Features explicitly described by the development team as upcoming (e.g., the December 2026 update introducing Female Warrior and the Gladius weapon) are labeled as [Roadmap / In Development] rather than current launch features.
  • Tier 3: Community Observation & Field Calculations — Player-tested numbers (such as parry frame windows, weapon swap queue timings, and trade pack distance multipliers) are calculated through repeated in-game trials and clearly labeled as experimental or community-tested.

2. Strict Anti-Hallucination & Anti-Scraping Mandate

We strictly condemn the programmatic mass generation of generic AI placeholder pages or the copy-pasting of competitors' articles. We do not invent weapons, boss strategies, release dates, or drop rates to game search engines. If a feature or attribute has not yet been revealed by XLGAMES, we explicitly state that it is unannounced or under investigation.

3. Patch Tracking & Archival Integrity

Because MMORPGs evolve rapidly through Early Access, hotfixes and balance patches regularly modify skill values, stamina costs, and loot drop rates. We maintain dated changelogs for weapon and class guides. We do not cosmetically update publish timestamps without making substantial factual edits.

4. Community Corrections & Error Reporting

If you detect an inaccurate value, outdated coordinate, or incorrect skill description, we welcome immediate peer reviews. Community reports are verified against current game footage or patch notes within 24 hours. Contact our editorial team via our contact page.
